Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic Acupuncture, also known as Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, is becoming well known as a technique to rejuvenate, lift and clear the skin, using extremely fine needles in the facial muscles and surrounding areas.

Facial Acupuncture is a non invasive, safe, holistic and gentle method, creating a more youthful and vibrant skin, also improving ones overall health and well being. It is a safe, gentle technique traditionally used to improve facial elasticity and tone, soften the appearance of fine lines, and increase circulation to brighten your complexion and give you a glow.

Each course of treatment is specifically tailored to you personally, using carefully selected therapies, for your unique and specific skin and health. High quality, superfine Japanese needles and organic products are used, for the ultimate trust and benefit for your skin and health.

What can you expect during a treatment?

Facial massage utilising organic rosehip and coconut oils
Facial cotton mask/ steam with pure essential oils and herbs selected according to your skin type
Superfine, high quality Japanese needles and/ or intradermals (tiny tiny needles) treating your personally requested areas of facial concern
Body acupuncture point needling to ground and support your overall health and healing

I also use a range of other techniques according to your individual needs including organic pearl powder to replenish yin and build collagen (excellent to rebuild scar tissue), special facial cups to assist blood flow and massage the facial areas, jade and rose quartz gua sha massage to cool and nourish the skins healing capacity, and special jade rollers to build yin and blood of the face.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is an excellent alternative, truly natural approach to beautifying the skin without surgery and injection. Cosmetic Acupuncture is far less expensive, more natural, non-invasive and safer than plastic surgery or botox injection(s), and has minimal side effects, inflammation, or recovery time.

It is a series of treatments which are cumulative. You may well see differences after one treatment – and I can assure you your face and body will certainly feel very different – in order to gain meaningful benefit, the recommendation is for a series of 10 -12 appointments to get the best possible, long standing results.

Facial Acupuncture is not at all scary, and many people request it again and again simply for the lovely feeling of relaxation and clarity it provides for them, as well as for the benefits of skin and facial health observable by others! Its much like a facial except it actually gathers long term results rather than all-too-brief ones, and assists with deeper health concerns while getting benefits for your face.
